We are woodsmen using age old skills to hand make products from English oak. Sourced from local thinnings our wood is cleft, split along the grain, rather than sawn. This gives character and strength - the shape of the post, rail or paling follows the shape of the tree from which it came.We split the wood first with wedges and then use froes to cleave the smaller pieces. Further shaping is done with a side axe.

Our mortices are hand cut and our palings attached with traditional rose head nails. This attention to detail ensures that our fencing is historically authentic and fits the landscape exceptionally well.

We have supplied a number of National Trust sites, including Stowe and Lyveden New Bield and are currently working at Charlecote. We also supply museums, prize winning gardens at Chelsea, many historic houses, as well as large and small gardens across the country. We are as happy to quote for a ten yard run as for five hundred yards.

We can fit locally, within about an hour's drive, and supply nationwide.

We are a small and friendly company. Please get in touch with your requirements.
